2. Our Lesson Plan
Detroit E-Foil offers professional efoil lessons designed for all skill levels. From your very first session, you’ll learn how to balance, control speed, and rise smoothly above the water — safely and confidently.
Each lesson begins on land for an easy introduction to the equipment and controls. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll move onto the water to experience that incredible feeling of lift and flight. With personalized guidance from certified instructors, you’ll be foiling on your first day.
We go at your own pace, making sure you're comfortable with the board while riding on your stomach, knees, and eventually the standing position. Our instructors are actively giving you helpful tips during your lesson and answering any questions you might have.
During our lessons, we are filming you. At the end of the lesson, we do a video debrief so you can see how you ride. During this time, we show what you're doing right or what you need to correct to make efoiling easier.

- 27" Mast makes it easier to learn, less likely to hit bottom, or catch seaweed.
